LYON: CAPITAL DE RHÔNE-ALPES

If you´re riding beside this city yon can´t forget one tour around. Lyon is one of most important and cosmopolitan towns situated in the south-east of France, where the Rhône and the Saône meet in the Rhône-Alpes region. During its 2000 year history, Lyon built a unique and original cultural and architectural heritage, from Roman times up until now, incorporating the birth of cinema with the Lumière brothers. Lyon must be visited to discover Bellecour square, the Notre Dame de Fourvière Basilica, The Place des Terreaux, the Quays of Saône and the historic site of Vieux-Lyon,  declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.


Como toda gran ciudad el tráfico en horas punta está colapsado hasta la extenuación, pero nada que no hayamos visto ya cuando circulamos por cualquiera de las grandes cities de España. Una vez dentro la gente se reune a orillas de los ríos para hacer la tertulia tomando unas cervezas o lo que se tercie.Destacan por su belleza el Ayuntamiento y la mezcla atemporal de los edificios clásicos y modernos.
En esta zona el precio de la gasolina ronda los 1,61€, y la autopista desde la frontera está en 25,65€ ambos precios muy razonables si tenemos en consideración que nos encontramos en el primer mundo y que en este país el salario mínimo interprofesional es el doble que el nuestro.
